Band Overview

Phantom Harmonics is a band celebrated for its eclectic blend of musical genres, including jazz, pop, classical, and unique rhythmic patterns and odd meters. Their music features complex harmonies and sophisticated arrangements, offering a rich tapestry of sound that defies traditional genre boundaries. This unique fusion creates an engaging and distinctive listening experience.

Srijan Srivastava

Srijan Srivastava is a 23-year-old pianist and composer, and the bandleader of Phantom Harmonics. Born in Lucknow, India, Srijan began his musical journey with classical music, which laid a strong foundation for his later explorations in jazz. He currently studies at Hochschule Osnabrück – Institut für Musik, majoring in Jazz Composition.

Srijan writes, composes, and arranges all the music for the band. His work showcases a blend of classical and jazz influences, and he has composed a wide range of pieces for various ensembles, from duos to large ensembles and big bands. In addition to his work with Phantom Harmonics, he is a dedicated educator, teaching at music schools in Münster and Osnabrück, as well as offering private lessons.

Anina Batz

Anina Batz is a dynamic Jazz/Pop singer based in Osnabrück. With a background in teaching and a focus on Jazz Vocals, she is now furthering her studies in Pop Vocals. Anina has made notable appearances, including a performance at the Frauenkirche in Dresden in 2022 and starring as the main character in the musical theater production “Die Galoschenoper” in Dresden in 2023. She has been an integral part of the musical ensemble and has co-organized musical concerts at the Hochschule für Musik in Dresden. As a soloist, she has performed with the Gospelnight choir and the Werkstatt Big Band in several projects. Anina is also involved in various musical groups: the Vocal Trio Lianle (Pop music), the Jazz Duo Fokus and Band Fokus, and recently joined the Salsa band 50/50 to explore Salsa and Latin music. Since May 2024, she has been a part of the Jazz band Phantom Harmonics. At the moment she is also working on her own humorous pop- and jazz-songs that she will perform with her Jazz-Duo Fokus and band.

Noah Weber

At 25 years old, Noah Weber is the guitarist of Phantom Harmonics, known for his diverse musical background and wide-ranging influences. Growing up in a musical household, Noah began with classical guitar in his youth and transitioned to electric guitar as a teenager. His playing style combines elements of rock, metal, and modern jazz, reflecting his eclectic musical tastes. Currently, Noah is expanding his musical horizons through jazz studies at the Institute of Music in Osnabrück. His technical proficiency and creative approach contribute significantly to the band’s dynamic and innovative sound.

Daniel Moris

Daniel Moris is a chilean bassist whose beginnings in music date back to his school days, where he discovered his interest in the electric bass, an instrument that has accompanied him through thick and thin ever since. He began playing pop and rock, then became interested in funk and finally opted for jazz, a musical language that he began studying at the music institute of the Hochschule Osnabrück, where he joined the Phantom Harmonics. He is currently studying Jazz and Jazz related music with a major in electric bass at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. He is also an architect.

Joel Jacob Korevaar

Joel Jacob Korevaar, 28, is a talented drummer studying Jazz Drums at the Institute of Music (IfM) Osnabrück. With experience across various genres and a deep understanding of odd meters and polyrhythms, Joel is an exceptional musician. He has been involved in numerous projects, performing with ensembles ranging from trios to large groups, and is also an active member of other bands like Saturday Funk Fever and Dripleaf.
